At least Hayes & Harlington was manned when I was returning from Heathrow to Oxford, only to find the Heathrow Connect trains had all been cancelled (Heathrow Express running normally) not only that their was no replacement bus laid on, but advised to use the scheduled 140 service, although this would not accept my rail tcket (return half of an Oxford-Heathrow ticket).
