I am in perfect agreement with Mark's assessment that you will ONLY save cash during the first month. Having run a business myself in SC and knowing NC's sales tax laws, you will get in trouble as soon as they find out you are doing this. Both of them expect payment of taxes based on invoice date and allow you to credit sales for returns (including sales tax returned). They do NOT allow
