This is a silly problem, but a serious one non the less I am working for a customer using SAS DI Studio. I have no access to SAS proper, so I make heave use of the source editor in SAS DI. Somehow I have hidden the log window for the source editor window, and I can't get it back. both files are open, however the files are on a memory stick and therefore L5 quotes the pathname as well as filename i.e. F:\ "Dave Peterson" wrote: Is the workbook with the filename in L5 open? Yes, So in "sheet 1" I am creating a summary of the rest of the sheets with information on them. "Sheet 2" through "Sheet 18" have a cell that has the name of each sheet in it, and then a quantity for that sheet along with other information. On "sheet 1" I want to put in column A the title of each sheet, and then in collumn B I want excel to read what is in Column A, go to the corresponding
