Just curious if anyone caught TVLand's top 50 TV Icons? Jim was 77, although the only ones included in the airing were the top 50, but below are links to the Top 100. ... although I thought the top 10 icons were pretty reasonable. But...of the folks in the top 50 putting them several places...over the course of nearly 50 years! As I said elsewhere...I'd think of an icon as an actor (this is...right, which shouldn't be iconic at all. Doesn't excuse...E/R! Clooney isn't iconic, but an actor with classic...That's a somewhat common tv character, actually. 32 Henry Winkler...

IMO - These sorts of lists are pretty meaningless, although I thought the top 10 icons were pretty reasonable. But here are some of the folks in the top 50 putting them several places above James Garner. ..., 8 Simple Rules)- over the course of nearly 50 years!
