A true downside of drinking song is "Wreck On the Highway" by Roy Acuff. a few reactions - I'm 99.9%% sure that the chorus is "You'll be comin' down now baby You'll be comin' down What GOES around here comes around, and You'll be comin' down" and I don't hear what you hear in the 4th line. I think it's "Jack,...." but no clue until "days are gray blue". I just don't hear Republican. I have seen another attempt that says "Jacket you bought me gone daisy grey
