Mary, This person is most probably from India (or of Indian descent). India is home to one of the world's largest English speaking population thanks to the British who left us (all because of a lawyer named Gandhi ) but the English left the language behind. Now it's a billion dollar industry to speak in English in call centers , but I am afraid the gentleman below might have to work harder
