... huab tais is 'emperor'. vaj is 'king'. shi huagdi in hmong is "fajtim". qin shi huang di is a title, meaning first emperor. faj tim is the given name of huang di = yellow emperor. that's why suav + hmoob hais, faj tim huab tais. that's why many say that huang di, yan di, chi you are not 'names' but just titles. you guys get it. i thought we went through this already?

Since we are throwing words and ideas around. Consider this Ch'in Shih-huang Huangdi Imagine, Chinese people call their emperor Chin Shih Huang. Chin is last name? So you start to call him by first name Shih Huang. Then after awhile Shih Huang shortens to Shuang then Suav. ? Just throwing ideas around. Hopefully it won't get too silly.

in the beganing suav is hmong cov qhev. hmong use to count how many of slaves they have. so, after they took over the hmong people, they force the hmong to call suav only and left out the qhev. but the original words for them is suav qhev.
