The newest models are the best bargains around. Do you want analog sound converted to cable so it goes thru your HDMI cable? This is a feature that breaks down by model. Same thing with upconverting analog vhs to digital to go thru the HDMI cable to the TV. Check ONkyo's site and cnet's reviews.
