Re: John singing lead on "Eleanor Rigby:" > Oh, no, that would be wrong, wrong, wrong. And I still maintain ER is > largely if not entirely written by Paul... I see ER as one of the true Lennon-McCartney collaborations as compared to Paul's other tunes on "Revolver," where John's influence might be less noticeable. A John-sung version of ER probably wouldn't have consisted of John singing
