Thanks for the replies. I've tended to opt for embedded VOB assets to avoid transcoding in Encore, or when I haven't I use DV AVI with PCM. I understand that VOB isn't formally supported, but I don't know of any other format that is already DVD spec that doesn't require VBR tweakage?
