I'm trying to write a simple bash script that's turning out to be a horrible hack. The script is 2 lines, so you'd think I could figure it out.... I have a multi-head system with 3 heads and 3 sound cards. X is running on each head. The heads always come up in the same order, so I know that physical head 1 always gets DISPLAY 1, and so on. I have a list of sound cards that correspond
