Frank, Many thanks yet again. Yes, this is exactly what I'm doing since the problems started. I have also read on a forum soewhere that people who do not use Microsoft programmes i.e. Mc users, have difficulty opening email that has been created from Word. I've also read somewhere that Microsoft Vista has stopped people using Word as an email compiler. This doesn't mean anything to me
