I live in NB, Canada. I use a 'Battery Tender'. It has a quick connect. They can be left on all of the time, it will not overcharge the battery. I also use on on my Honda snowblower.

... it again, was whooped anyhow. So, I got it back to my house and then had to fire up the snowblower to move the mountain of sand at the end of my driveway from the previous night's snowplows. Finally got everything cleared(took hours) and my snowblower finally had enough and broke down...just like my back. Figured I was all set until I get up this ...
