You are correct, sir! Dynamics.set was inexplicably using 8 character dos names for the directories on some of the lines. The short versions of the directory names changed with the hardware change. I entered the long path names into Dynamics.set and everything is back to normal. Hopefully MS will take note and stop using short names. "Japheth Nolt" wrote: I'm guessing your dynamics

I recently replaced my d: drive. Now, when I go into SBF I get the message "Unable to open dictionary:d:Progra~Micros~2/SmallB!1/CFM.DIC." That file is there and I've checked permissions. When I press OK, I get the same message with a different dictionary (this one isn't there). Three dictionaries later, it goes into SBF and can do some tasks ok. Others will crash it. I tried reinstalling
