Interesting!!! I would never have pegged Doyle as a mystic. It seems to show that people can compartmentalise themselves. Earlier this year I fished around for a quick bedtime read. I lighted upon "The Passion of the Western Mind, by Richard Tarnas. Not knowing the author I thought it might be an interesting read through the history of philosphy from Plato to the present.
