I'll have a look in detail over the weekend - it's a long week and late here right now to do the traces ;-) In the meantime, it's not obvious what you mean by non-generated and generated HTML ? However the "generated" HTML is using the wrong CLSID (begins 22... for WMP6.4, should begin 69... for WMP7 and later object model) You can check Firefox plugins list under Tools -> Add-Ons -> Plugins

What are the two client request headers? Generally WMP wants to directly handle the URL, so if the browser already initiated a connection WMP may dump that connection and create its own. -- Speaking for myself only. Please visit the forum to read my response (basically, it displays differently in IE and Firefox. In IE, normal enough, In Firefox, there aren't dividers between controls). -- Take a chance. Disregard my answer... I didn't read the entire thread. Did you get this to work? In the past there has been reports of broken profiles that caused the sorter to fail. You might think about repairing your profile. -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "drgeorgep" <drgeorgep@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message
