What do you mean by need a server? Windows Mail can access POP3 and IMAP email accounts. It cannot access most Hotmail accounts. I understand that your ISP (Qwest) gives you a premium MSN email account. That account is capable of POP access. Here are their latest instructions: "We wanted to inform you that access to the MSN POP3 service will be changing effective February 1, 2007. This message has been sent to the e-mail address that corresponds to the primary e-mail account that you use to access the MSN POP3 service

Hi Richard, thanks for the help The problem I now have is the data is all written on one line and it does not show me what is a dc or only a member server. I also get ony server 2003, but it does not show me when R2 is loaded. I'm newish to scripting and is still learning, so i"m sure i'm missing something stupid in my script Any more ideas would be greatly appreciated "Richard Mueller
