Gunner, Well now that the valve is junk, just about anything you do is OK. Yeah weld the nut.. the heat from the welding may do more help than anything else... How about doing some grinding? Ya got a handheld "die grinder" or a dremmel on steroids? Grind out the center of the valve head, or grind some slots or flat spots in the valve head and get an air chissle on them. Maybe a few
