Thank for the input Mike, You are correct , that is exactly what I want to use the scooter for. I don't see putting as many miles as you did , but I appreciate your recommendation of the Grand Vista 250. It really is a nice looking machine and will be on my list. I don't mind working on the scooter a little. I have overhauled many engines/transmission on motorcycles, scooters, cars

I bought a barely used Honda CH80 Elite scooter a couple of years back for my wife and daughter to have something to scoot around the neighborhood. I ride up to the store or around the nieghborhood myself. My wife who is teaching summer school this summer had talked about riding the scooter to work about 7mi away. The scooter gets 100mpg and the thought of spending $4/week in gas thrilled her
