While the scale is an issue, more of an issue if the 'live end' of the fence moving in excess of 1/8" everytime I go to lock it down for a true measurement. When the fence is close to the blade, it is right on, once you get out 20" or so, it drifts out 1/16-1/8 out from actual. The end of the fence never seems to move a constant distance when locked down, which make for a real pain of moving
