Hi, After making sure that DNS is in place, do the following: 1) Please check the permissions on the shared folders 2) Please enable UserEnv logging on the test problematic client machine and check what errors are we getting regarding the same "Meinolf Weber" wrote: > Hello SoGoO, > > You didn't configure the DNS server for the client, check your DHCP scope > options and add the

I have now got the setup to work perfectly. The only difference is just that there is a working file sharing connection to the server, except for that I have done nothing differently. I logged on to the client computer using Remote Connection in both cases but this one worked. I post the result of the ipconfig /all from the machine below: IP-konfiguration för Windows Värddatornamn

Hi! I am using a PPTP VPN connection to an SBS2k3 with 8 clients. Clients use both Vista and XP Pro but with different setups. Some of the clients are domain connected and some of them can not be (Vista Home Premium). All clients have been set up to use the internal IP of the SBS to be their primary DNS server for the VPN-connection but despite all this, file access to the server is very

"inismore" <galwayir@webspeed.dk> skrev i meddelelsen news:47fe51b5$0$2085$edfadb0f@dtext02.news.tele.dk... den nye afløser for 7110 hedder altså 8110, og det må vel ses som om at 2110 MAX er aløser for 2110 men der sker nok ikke noget "prisfald" før de nye kommer.. 8110 skal ikke ses som en afløser for 7110, og 2110 Max er heller ikke afløser for 2110 (den passer f.eks ikke så godt

Well, the most important part of the search here is the filter, which would look something like this: (proxyAddresses=smtp:foo@bar.com) Where foo@bar.com is the SMTP address you are looking for. The rest of the search setup depends on the credentials you want to use and where you want to search. Do you want to search a single domain or the whole forest using the global catalog? If

Calculations aside, transfer speed over wireless goes up and down. Belkin's 300 is a data rate and not necessarily actual throughput. You should probably follow up on the USB issue in the hardware and devices groups, but it sounds like an iffy situation to me. Have you considered exchanging the USB for a PCI card ? Trip got cancelled meaning that I can now dedicate more time to truobleshooting. I´ll try the keyboardthing in a while. But since the network is working i decided to test it by transferring a large file (700mb). The wireless network status indicator tells me that the transferspeed is aproximately 250 mbit/s (varies from 210-270). Quite good since the maximum theoretical speed is 300 mbit/s
