Just goes to show you how tastes vary -- Windels Coupe Grosse is one of my favorites. I find it to be cigary and to have a very pure tobacco taste. It always tastes like I haven't smoked a pipe for a long time, or like my first memories of tobacco. It may take a slight adaptation in technique, though. Semois is usually quite dry, and is (from what my Belgian source tells me) traditionally smoked

Hi ASPers, I purhcased today two packages of the Belgian Semois pipetobacco. Having heared some good opinions about it I had expectations. (As a reminder Semois is a tobacco that is cultivated on a small area in the Semois rivervalley in Belgium and available only in Belgium.) The pouch-aroma of this pure tobacco is really interesting. I've never smelled anything like this. No "tobaccoish"
