It's curious that you're using the "semantics" defense considering that A) I was using -your- pasted definition of "belief" and B) it proves my point. Beliefs can be anything from logical conclusion derived the prevailing evidence, to irrational, wishful thinking, based on nothing in the way of evidence, to just about anything in between.
