I haven't had that problem with my Dr's. I have been told that peri-menopause can last 10 years..so it can start in the 40's since the average age of menopause is 50-51. I was one of the lucky ones ..my peri- only lasted a couple of years before I reached menopause. I had some great Dr's and Nurse Practitioners. They talked to me and handed me brochures to read...and we discussed what would
