Speaking of hand feeding a hummer. Here's a fun story, all true of course. A couple other people and I are building a log cabin in Millers Creek NC we don't live there we live 300 miles away in SC. The house was dried in and the doors and windows were open. I noticed something small hugging close to the rafters. Upon closer observation I noticed it was a hummingbird. He was (I suppose) in

As I was carrying out the just refilled hummer feeder, I was zoomed by 2. I stopped at the edge of the deck and held the feeder at arms length. Within seconds one, then 2 hummers were hovering ready to feed. One did briefly before a 3rd zoomed and and disrupted the whole affair. After rehanging the feeder I watch and they spent much more time zooming each other than sipping. From where I

2005 LS V6 with now 28,000miles. Last year at 22,000 I asked a reputable garage I use for alignments about having the fuel filter changed on my car above. After performing the alignment they looked up my car and told me the filter is actually in the gas tank and never needs a routine change. They said however, it could be done if I wanted but fuel savings wouldn't be worth the amount of money
