...editor and hit the F5 key to refresh the desktop. "tkbirdie" <tbirdieuk@yahoo.co.uk...noticed that there was no original desktop icon for IE7. I know how to..., but I would like the original icon back. I checked in the display properties... anyone help me get the icon back? I'm happy to use the shortcut, but I would prefer to use the original icon. Thanks

Is this by design and, if so, is there a "fix" to get IE icon on desktop so when right-click can view IE Properties? If ... value 0. Try hitting your F5 key to refresh the Desktop and the icons on it. -- Hope this helps. Let us know...> I still have problems with the icons reverting back to the ugly IE icon...When I return to the desktop the icon has changed. I've saved the icon...doesn't matter if I download another icon and assign it to the shortcut,... that doesn't show its original icon, so I have to get it ...

I'd like to force a refresh of the Start Menu from within my MFC App. Specifically, it's the user account icon I'd like refreshing as my App allows the user to edit it. Are there any WIN32/MFC/anything calls that can do this? Thanks

OneNote icon in outlook

I am running outlook 2003 on two machines with XP operating system. One machine has the onenote icon (send selected email to One Note) the other does not. Both are running onenote with the tech refresh. Any suggestions on where the icon may have gone? How do I get it back?
