... obedience. Freedom is the opposite of obedience. need to be freed from their "oppressive government"; need not be listened to when spoken, since they are "brainwashed". Blame it all on Confucianism. There are still people like LT Lee, PaPaPeng, Wacky Wrong,... who still think like Emperor QianLong, that Confucianism is the greatest, and China has everything under heaven.
