Hi all, I am using an external DAQ to input a modulated bitstream of raw complex I/Q samples inside Matlab. The data inside the bitstream is encoded with a rate 1/2, feedback convolutional encoder. When using hard decision Viterbi decoding, everything works out just fine. Confusion surfaces when I decide to try out soft decision decoding. In the example provided with Comms. Toolbox, 'quantiz'
