Hi, Cari. Sorry I could not respond sooner. The site had an issue regarding logging-in. the steps worked great. I have not checked this. What I will do is installed the latest 2003 printer driver on the server and the latest xp one on the workstation. I'm pretty sure it will not do anything but it's worth a try. I'll keep in touch of the developements probably next week. Thanks for the tip. I know there are numerous threads about spooler errors but I could not find one that would fix my problem. Printer: Canon Pixma MP450. OS: Vista Home Premium 64 bit. Recently jumped from an AMD 754 to Intel 775 Quad core. Same OS, just reinstalled and formatted HD. No issues under 754 but having this problem along with others now. It probably stops when it reaches the 2Gb memory limit. I would suggest looking for up-to-date printer drivers and installing them on the server. There is probably a bug in the printer drivers that is causing memory to leak on the print spooler.
