There are increasing illustrations and what is supposed to be an original diagram of a proposed mid-war hybrid lander type support machine that could fly very low off the ground with manoeuvering jets to engage enemy troops. The thing looks like the lunar lander, but with a cylidrical turret with two automatic MGs. Depiction shows it being dropped into combat area without propulsion... but
