First off, I'm using Access 2007 SP1, and SQL Server 2005 Express, on my local computer before I roll it out to the client. I have converted my Access 2000 database to Access 2007 and data table held in SQL express. Where I need help or guidance with is when I start the Access 2007 adp, I keep getting the SQL server login prompt , prompting me to login. What I would ideally like is

I finally found a work-around. I moved all the Macro code to in-line code. That works. So you put in DoCmd.OpenStoredProcedure and DoCmd.RunSQL etc in the event of the button. It was manual and boring... but got it out of the way once and for all. Now the Access 2007 ADP works against the SQL 2005. Hope this helps. I disagree. I've been using _ACCESS_ every day for the past decade. I just sure won't use MDB!!!! I grew sick and tired of dealing with corruption and bloat.. dealt with awful performance.. I supported 20 people that spent 40 hours a week-- typing stuff into Access. I just don't think that this is the appropriate database for any real data entry efforts of important data. i've been
