I think You can't change the format. The way the mask behaves depends on the windows settings if I'm not wrong. If you want it to behave with comma instead of dot, You should only change the regional settings of windows in the control panel. You can do what you wanted by changing the editmask for dates. But, you can not specify a comma for a decimal place in the editmask or format. You must use a period for decimal place. As mike stoffel stated, the way you are supposed to do this is with the standard settings: Dates use: [shortdate] for format or [date] for editmask Amounts use: #,##0.00# (etc) for editmasks or formats

Hey Dave, How are the Danish users localization properties set up? As I understand it, you should always use the edit mask of #,###.000. PowerBuilder should look at the decimal display preferences defined on the local computer and change the decimal indicator appropriately. Pretty easy to test. For dates, I try to always use [shortdate] for the format as that will use what is defined
