The only other vocalist who could be classified as "unique" sounding and in the same leaque as Hammill would be, from my perspective, Demetros Stratos from Area and Albertos Piros from Deus Ex Machina who evoke a more operetic foundation. Even so, Hammill is unique and one of a kind in the music world.

In the more shadowy world there are high quality Rockpalast concerts of Hammill with the K group in 1981 and the VDGG 2006 reunion concerts to be found if you know where to look. I understand that sometime this year the 81 Rockpalast concert is being released on DVD. Any truth to this? Anyone heard anything concerning this?
