As the other poster stated, the great Ocean road from Apollo Bay towards Warrnambool and then onto Mt Gambier would be the best way to go. Lots to see at all the places on the way. Stop overnight at Apollo Bay or Lorne, Warrnambool, Portland & Mt Gambier Lots to see in all those places. Once getting to Mt Gambier, see the Lakesand other things . Then I would suggest then going the inland route
