After reading the NY Times review of the recent series of performances of Partch's "Delusion of the Fury", I broke out my lp set of the premiere performances supervised by Partch and started transferring to cd. Lots of fun. The one problem is that there are so many little pops and pips intrinsic to the plucked stringed instruments that it's hard to tell whether the pop is music or a vinyl
