Hi WDSnews, Here is a script that I scraped together from different posts on the Internet. I think it has some features that you will be interested in and can modify to suit your needs. It read a .csv file and creates a user in the SBSUsers container. Hello people, I have a script for forwarding mails. Now I have to fill in their mailNickName (login name). I don't want that though, I want to fill in the name of the distinguishedName. In other words: CN=Derek Jeter, OU=*OU*,DC=domain,DC=domain. I want to fill in "Derek Jeter" instead of "derekj". Hi, I am using ADSI interface to connect to LDAP server and retreive the directory structure. My applicaiton was working for with Netscape directory. But when i tried to test my applicaiton with an Etrust directory it does not connect to the server and gives me an UnSpecified Error. Code i sue to connect to the server is. Since you are using the WinNT provider, you should use what I call the NT name of the user. Some call this the logon name or user id. It is the "pre-Windows 2000 logon name" in ADUC. This is not the Common Name (value of the cn attribute), displayName or distinguishedName. Of course, you must substitute the NetBIOS name of your domain for "DOMAIN".
