Hi 2Curious, By default Vista cannot read a Word doc file. A Word doc file type is used (associated) by Microsoft Office or Microsoft Word. Unless you have one of these programs or a 3rd party Word file viewer installed, you will not be able to open and view the Word doc file. This free 3rd party program will allow you to view Word and other Office files in Vista. 'TextMaker Viewer 2008 - Free

Sono meno di 5 MB e legge anche il formato ODT.
