Stephen, Many thanks for the fix. It took a while to test. I also took the opportunity to upgrade our project to pt6.0.2 and integrated the SDFScheduler patch manually. I have replayed our testcases and ... the problem is gone. There is no trace left of a memory leak. Thanks for the quick response and figuring it out. Christopher, Thanks for your reply. It looks like I forgot to mention one important flow in our test scenario. We alter the structure of a model run-time, this however not during model execution. I tried to think of an example that illustrates the flow of our application very 'simplified': deploy any simple model, containing an SDFScheduler while (true) { add and wire a StringCompare

Hi Richard, I had a look at this and I'm having a hard time reproducing it. That doesn't mean it is not a bug, it just means I can't reproduce it. :-) Stephen Neuendorffer suspects that what you report is indeed a bug, but until I can reproduce it, I can't fix it. What I did was create ptII/ptolemy/actor/lib/string/test/StringCompare.tcl which parses ptII/ptolemy/actor/lib/string/test/auto/StringCompare

Hi ptolemy hackers, In our situation we have embedded part of the Ptolemy kernel in our application, parsing models using an instantiated MoMLParser and executing models using a ModelManager. We have been doing this for some time for many constructed models, without any problems. Last week I constructed a SDF model which includes a StringCompare actor. When repeatedly executing the model, reusing
