Unrelated point, but seeing as it's about music charts, it's probably sorta relevent here. Having spent the last three months travelling the east coast of Australia, and listening to their Top 30 countdown weekly on the radio, the one thing I noticed is how stable the charts are. Dementia Top 20 Show June 7-9 (Chart from June 30, 2006) The attendance for the San Diego County Fair was down some 100,000 visitors over last summer. Why? They stayed home to listen to dfsxradio.com, home of the weekly Dementia Top 20 countdown show. Looks like staying outside in the hot humid sun for 20th century fair events is history. This is summer San Diego style: a 20,000 BTU
