Hello David, I am delighted I did not have to reinstall Windows as the last time this happened it took me nearly 6 boring hours to complete. I have certainly learned a little more about the mysteries of Windows and managed to run a script. Thanks once again. Rob, You're welcome and I'm glad to hear that you got it all sorted out. It should be noted that both the MS article and myself were remiss in not asking you to verify the presence of these files in your system in the first place. It would have saved you a lot of anguish, but looking on the bright side, troubleshooting the problem has probably given you some valuable experience with this

Bonjour, A priori la mise a jour cumulative n'a pas réussi a installer tous les fix. Dans un cas comme celui-la, il faut comparer la liste des fix contenus dans le package et vérifier qu'ils sont reellement installés. I have had similar problems because of some BITS policies on our network. Make sure that the DCOM permissions are appropriately set and that the BITS service is starting. Win2000 SP4, WinXP SP1/2. ITMU is the last version, SMS have SP2. The MP works correctly because only some client have this problem. This problem is not regarding a specific operating system or specific MP, this problem is random on some client in all Site. I've already tried to repair client but the problem persist...
