Dear users, I am struggling to setup my MPC555 phytec board correctly. I am working with Embedded Target for MPC5xx 2.1 (or also Target Support Package™ FM5). I need important memory for the stack application and would like to use the external ram of the micro. In fact I would like to set up also the .data, .sdata, .sbss, ... and the stack in the external ram. I checked the following

A comprehensive suite of software development blocks has been built within Simulink, which in turn will simplify and speed up system design. This Blockset can be used universally for Model Based Design of any application using the MPC555. Blockset will comprise of I/Os and Analog to Digital converter. Thus, an infrastructure has been developed for the MPC555 users. Applications can be widely

Hi, can you elaborate your question? 1. what format your current souce code is in? c? m? simulink? real-time workshop converts simulink models to C language. There are add-on toolboxes for particular targets to generate driver code as well, for example, for TI C2000, 6000, mpc555, etc. 2. purpose of the porting? prototype? production? 3. how much lagacy code/hand code you have to integrate

The ICD debuggers use software breakpoints by default. When a software breakpoint is set to an instruction the code at this address is replaced by a special instruction .g.TRAP, that stops the realtime execution and returns the control to the onchip debug system. This method requires RAM at the break positions! If you run your program out of RAM the number of software breakpoints is unlimited

I've never tried it. However, the error message makes me wonder whether you can solve the problem simply by setting the signal type manually, i.e. open the Model Explorer and specify everything about the signal type on the input and output port, don't leave it "inherited". Here it's a real, 4-element, int8 vector. Set both the input and output ports to that, and I would think this would
