... the airlines and rental car companies will be destroyed by the ferry. People will still rent cars. People will still fly. Yes... market, then the airlines WILL compete, or they will die. And "if" they die, then the Super Ferry will be the only game in town, and then they can raise prices to what the market will bear, since the consumer has no other choice but to ride the ferry.

And a bit more.... Just watched a show on the construction and sea trials of the Hawaii Super Ferry on the National Geographic Television Channel.
