BY SOFT ( not good english )! Hello, Not know if it is about a problem bound(connected) to IE7 or to XP (what I believe Because problem does not exist any more if I use a session "Guests", I Allow me to ask question on the 2 groups: Since my IE6's passage to IE7, there is no more icon of the bar Of addresses and (it is doubtless bound(connected)) in the bar of links. Under IE6, for the

Package: workrave Version: 1.9.0-3 Severity: normal The latest versions of the program (not sure exactly when it started, I update regularly and did not pay special attention) show a particular bug: two "sheep" icons appear in the systray instead of one. I have checked with 'ps' and there is only one instance of workrave running; if I start another one, two more icons appear for a total of

Package: gnome-menus Version: 2.20.3-1 Severity: minor After an update on feb 27, I lose all the icons in the menus. I tried to change the theme in the gconf editor, but the icons don't reappear. I use gconf editor, because gnome-appearance-properties crashes (#469360). I also lose the applets in the panel but I manage to recover most of them. Thanks. -- System Information: Debian

"really tight on memory." Yes, I was misleading. What do you do when someone brings you a computer loaded with XP and 128MB(!!!!!!) of memory? I've had my share of those lately. A lot of on-screen icons really will slow down an XP system if the memory is 256MB or less. The icons themselves do not take up much space. But the whole threaded list of icons and (for that matter) the stuff in

That's a bit misleading. Upon booting up, it DOES take longer but once booted, I agree the performance then is the same. Even if you increase the memory which helps a little upon boot up, more icons does slow up the boot up process!! I know I did it (from 1 to 2 gigs notebook ram, pc2 5300 on the latter). Shame on you Ben <g> !! On Thu, 27 Dec 2007 21:58:07 -0500, Ben Myers <
