Pelfrey's minor league start wasn't that great, 5 hits, 3 walks, two wild pitches and a homer. If the following article is accurate it appears Park may have made the roster as a relief pitcher. As poorly as he pitched overall he is lucky Burgos and Sosa have been just as bad. The biggest surprise to me would be Joe Smith making the opening day roster. With only 12 innings of experience at AA I didn't think he had any chance of making the team this year. http://www.thebaseballcube.com/players/S/Joe
