..., and not because of the cops or not just because of them. Cops simply go wherever there is crime occurring. Avoid those places, and don't condemn all of America because of some bad examples. I personally feel perfectly safe where I am living in America, it is a low crime area, and so there aren't any cops around to speak of. But in general it's not the traffic cops you should worry...
