Package: mysql-server-5.0 Version: 5.0.51-3 Severity: grave Justification: causes non-serious data loss Given two data files, country.sql (~800 rows) and mysql-crash.sql (a new table and a data conversion of the data in country.sql). Result is a mysql server crash that results in loss of a) persistent database connections b) data in memory tables c) temporary tables. I won't claim

I thought that doing the " fileIn.read()" reads the whole file in, not line for line. That was my mistake. Thanks to everybody who replied. Hi Celeste I'm not sure about your problem, but I think you've forgot to call 'con = fileIn.read();' for each line. Instead use of Textbuffer you can do it that way: while (fileIn.status() == IO_Status::OK) { con = fileIn.read(); // do something with the read data } Best regards Patrick "Celeste" wrote: I’m having some problems reading from a comma delimited file

I’m having some problems reading from a comma delimited file. I have a container in which I read the lines, but it doesn’t seem to move past the first line in the file. (The objective is to store values from a comma delimited into a grid.) The comma delimited file looks like this: Num1, Name1,value1 Num2,Name2,value2 (i.e. I want a grid with 3 columns, and two rows.) Here are some extract
