I've recently, in July, got my first bike with a lightbar. People do seem to notice me more often. I haven't had near as many cars pull out on me. It's also the biggest bike I've owned though so it may just be I'm more visible due to overall size. I went from a 650 V Star to a 1500 Intruder. Riding around with my son during the weekend, day time... Saw 2 bikes with triple lightbars turned on. They were much more visible than my son and I (we switch bikes on and off). During the day, mind you, my son on his Ninja 500 had to be pretty darn close for me to even see his lights burning. My Honda aero was only slightly better.
