Package: banshee Version: 0.13.2+dfsg-2+b1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable banshee crashes on load. I use a clean testing/lenny installation with Gnome and Compiz. I've tried to use Metacity instead of Compiz, but the problem resists. It seems to load fine as the progress bar on the splash window is moving. However, it crashes before it's finished loading.

I too am not an iTunes user or I would have used TLViewer to look at the COM interface. I appreciate your posting the URL. The help file gives me a feel for what iTunes is capable of, but it is not an easy read.
