Hi everybody, I have written a brief guide about a software I have created for the macintosh computer and was wondering if anyone might check out the following text. I would really appreciate that! /// OVERVIEW \\\ As you will know, Nicecast by Rogue Amoeba is the easiest way to broadcast music from OS X. Nicecast can help you create your own internet radio station or allow

Dear Tom van Stiphout, Thanks a lot. My problem is now solved. =))) and, btw, just out of curiosity, can Access automatically calculate the average value (LengthAVG), and store it? Thanks again... =) On Sep 4, 1:06 pm, Tom van Stiphout <no.spam.tom7...@cox.net> wrote: > On Wed, 3 Sep 2008 21:06:31 -0700 (PDT), Jason Lim > > <kucinghu...@gmail.com> wrote: > > If I understand you

Hi Jason Lim, you would usually use the combo to search for a record or use it to enter a value for a field in a record. What you described is different again, and not what a combo is designed to. Are you trying to find a particular record on your form? or are you trying to enter data? If you are trying to make a search form, have a look at this sample on http://allenbrowne.com/ser-62.html

Dear all, I am at my wits' end trying to figure out this. Please help. Let's say I have a table, named tblSpecimen. In the table, the fields are ID, Name, Length1, Length2, and LengthAVG. And, I have a form with a combo box and a text box. So, in my combo box, I typed out the list - Length1, Length2, LengthAVG If I select Length1 from the combo box, its value should be displayed in

Wouldn't parametrizing the ellipse as a set of splines, then using de casteljau's within the range required provide the equi-length segments the OP is after? "Dave Eberly" <dNOSPAMeberly@usemydomain.com> wrote in message news:dk4_j.1677$BK1.1190@newsfe17.phx... You can do this using subdivision and solving quadratic equations. To illustrate, subdivide the ellipse in the first quadrant. The ellipse is (x/a)^2 + (y/b)^2 = 1 Let (0,b) and (a,0) be the starting ellipse points. You want to choose a point (x,y) on the ellipse so that the

Instead of Docmd.RunSQL, use Currentdb.Execute <sql statment>, dbFailOnError It bypasses the Access User Interface and goes directly to Jet, so it will not trigger the warnings. It is also faster. What do you mean by "it's almost as if it just ignores the insert all together"? Are you saying it doesn't do the update? How do you know? have you checked the data? -- Dave Hargis, Microsoft

If I have warnings turned on like in the code below, the insert runs fine, although it interupts the user to push OK, but if I set warnings to false, it's almost as if it just ignores the insert all together. It's doesn't make alot of sense to me why it would make any difference. Does anyone know why it would be doing this or a way around it? I really don't want to interrupt the process
