Not all Fonts show up in emacs menu

When I do "xlsfonts" command, a lot of kinds of fonts show up. However, in emacs menu ( Shift + leftclick of mouse) , they don't show up. They only show about 3,4 kinds.. Is there anyway to solve this ? Thanks
